The characteristics of our cooking plates and grids
BAKING TRAYS
- The dimensions of our baking trays available in the catalogue are: 400x600mm, 400x800mm and 600x800mm.
- The edges of our baking trays are either 45° or 90°. For baking trays with 90° edges, the 10 mm corners are not welded.
- You can find perforated or solid baking trays. Your perforated baking trays are specially designed to promote air circulation and are ideal for baking pies, pastries, pizzas, quiches and biscuits.
- All our trays are made of aluminium, a material that conducts heat perfectly. We have a blued steel plate reference, please note that you have to seal the steel plate when using it for the first time.
- Two different thicknesses are available: 1.5mm and 2mm
STAINLESS STEEL GRIDS
- The dimensions of our stainless steel grids available in our catalogue are: 400x600mm, 400x800mm and 600x800mm for the larger stainless steel grids.
- You will find stainless steel grids with or without a stop.
- We also offer a stainless steel GRID with 55mm high edges which is stackable.
Which baking plate to choose?

Perforated baking trays are also an excellent choice for baking certain products, such as breads and waffles.

DESIGNED FOR FOOD CONTACT, ALL APPLICATIONS:
Maé guarantees that all its products are CFC and HCFC free. They comply with all French and European regulatory requirements in force concerning materials and objects in contact with foodstuffs.

TEMPERATURE OF USE :
Baking trays should be used at a maximum temperature of 270°C to avoid damage to the coating.
STORAGE :
Preferably store sheets individually on racks. If stacked, put a sheet between each baking tray to avoid damage.
EASY CLEANING :
Soak the baking trays in a bath of very hot water, with a degreaser if necessary, at +80° C for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse or run through a tunnel washer to remove any deposits
CAUTION: :
- Do not use sharp or abrasive utensils
- Maé recommends regular maintenance and cleaning of its baking trays, which will increase their life span.
